History of the dojo

  1. 2011

    The beginnings in Corminboeuf

The dojo opened its doors in August 2011 in Corminboeuf, following Noureddine's wish to teach his passion: combat sports, especially karate and kickboxing. He surrounded himself with people who had been training with him for a long time: Déborah for the children's classes and Lehcen for adult and junior kickboxing. Shortly afterwards, Kevin also joined the team.

  2. 2013

    Moving to Beaumont

Two years later, the dojo moved into town, to Beaumont. The new premises needed some work, including building changing rooms and showers. Work progressed quickly thanks to the help of several dojo members, whom we thank warmly. The move also marked the arrival of Pascal on the staff, who looks after everything related to infrastructure. Shortly afterwards, Lehcen had to move away for professional reasons and left the coaching team.

  3. 2016

    Affiliations

The club joined the AVFK (Vaud-Fribourg Karate Association) to let its young and not-so-young karatekas try sport karate competition. At the same time, after taking part in several tournaments, the dojo joined WAKO Switzerland, the Swiss kickboxing federation.

  4. Today

    A club open to all

The dojo welcomes kids, juniors and adults from Monday to Thursday, in kickboxing, fit-boxing and Goju-Ryu karate. The spirit is the same as on day one: progress with respect, push your limits and have fun.

We also thank everyone who has helped us in one way or another and who prefers not to be named here.
